Pilates for Pregnancy and Post Natal

During pregnancy and the period which follows giving birth, many changes occur in the body.

These changes can sometimes cause new and unfamiliar pains in the lower back, hip and knees etc.

Appropriate Pilates exercises, attention to correct posture, correct use of stabilizing muscles, strengthening of the pelvic floor muscles, stretching of the back and thigh joints, can ensure a pregnancy without pain and relative ease of movement.

Please note however, to those of you who have not practiced Pilates before it is not advisable to begin during pregnancy, but it can be started after the birth with professional supervision.
